About Us

RAM LAL ANAND COLLEGE was set up in 1964 by a philanthropist and legal luminary Late Sh. Ram Lal Anand, to impart education at the university level. The College was taken over by the University of Delhi in July 1973. The Evening College was established in the same year.

The College is located adjacent to the South Campus of the University of Delhi in the picturesque surroundings of the South Delhi section of the the Aravali range.

The Evening College is a co-educational institution and conducts Humanities, Arts and Commerce courses at the undergraduate level. There are presently around 1700 students on the rolls of the College. . . .

First and foremost it is an honour for me to be appointed the OSD of Ram Lal College (Evening). I look forward to working at RLA College (Evening) with optimism and enthusiam.

This prospectus aims to provide you with a brief glimpse of RLA College (Evening). RLA College was set up in 1964 by a philanthropist and legal luminary Late Sh. Ram Lal Anand to impart education at the university level. The College was taken over by the University of Delhi in July 1973. The Evening College was established in the same year.

At present undergraduate learning and teaching at University of Delhi with the implementation of semester system is undergoing a sea change. DU is becoming highly competitive. We, at RLA College (Eve.), are dedicated to the holistic growth of our students in every possible way – inside and outside the classroom situation. We want our students to remember Mahatma Gandhi's famous quote: “Be the change you want to see in the world.” We want you to actively engage in class programmes and strive for the best.
